You don’t need to know anything about EFT before you show up to this workshop.

What is EFT?
EFT is a clinically proven mind body energy tool endorsed by the US Veterans Administration to heal PTSD. Yup. The stuff works!! It reduces cortisol, helps the nervous system move out of sympathetic mode. With practice you can recalibrate your nervous system to a higher vibe (shift out of chronic survival mode, expand safety, etc.).

If you’re curious, The Tapping Solution website has lots of great resources on EFT.

It's also a window into old conditioning lurking in our physiology we can’t even recognize because our thinking dictates what’s “true”.

How does this work....?

Like a dance instructor or tennis coach, I use EFT as a super awesome mind+spirit+body practice.

To: Develop a lusciously vibrant relational field that's fluid with tango dance polarity, between the body’s two main wisdoms:

  • Cognitive Intelligence (all of thinking capacities. Including memory, etc.)
  • Deep Non-Cognitive Intelligence (way more than intuition - aka Quantum, Spirit, Universe, etc)

Um, yah - you bet generating tango dance energy feels exuberant and lively!

It does take practice, though.

There’s a lot of clumsy stepping on toes when first learning the dance…that’s ok.

What are we going to do?
You’ll be guided through these steps we'll do together:
- Settling the circle.
- Inquiring into what your body is holding about anything that activates discomfort/conflict/stress.
- Noticing the landscape of your Inner World when you think of the topic.
- Moving through the tapping points.
- Letting your feels lead your thinking into the resonance of truth.
- Simply observing where your thinking might be suppressing, oppressing, patronizing your feels.
- After the actual tapping, capturing your experience in writing so you can track progress of your practice.

What should I bring?

  • Something to sit on in case we sit on the floor.
  • A notebook to write in.
  • Something to drink afterward, some spaces only allow water.

This work can help you embody a powerfully stable, zesty feeling of polarity. Polarity is lively and fluid. Even when you’re standing still.

It doesn’t mean we won’t feel fear, overwhelm, etc. It means our polarity witnesses and metabolizes these feels so they don’t paralyze us.
