After 80 years of being gloriously goofy, the Humor Mill Toastmasters club has decided to go on indefinite pause. Most members are continuing their Toastmasters journey of speaking and leadership skill improvement by joining other clubs. Our top recommendation, based on their similar emphasis of humorous speaking and the same meeting time (1st and 3rd Thursdays, 6:30 pm US Central time) is Humor-Us. That club is not on Meetup. You can use the "Find a Club" utility on toastmasters.org to reach out to them, or contact Humor Mill's Meetup organizer Paul for assistance.
Paul would also be pleased to recommend some other Toastmasters clubs based on your preferences for meeting days and times. If you prefer to attend such meetings in person, let us know any preferences for location. (Humor-Us meets exclusively online.)
For those who prefer Wednesday night meetings, we encourage you to visit Pathways to Success Toastmasters online on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:00 to 8:15 pm US Central time. This group of speakers and leaders with many achievements in the Toastmasters program are ready to help you and your guests toward your own success.

NOTE ABOUT TOASTMASTERS CLUBS IN GENERAL: while we understand the perceptions that the 'Toast' in Toastmasters may create for some people, this is not a 'happy hour' / adult beverage-sipping group with totally unstructured chit-chat purely for networking, and with no effect to the value of participation if one arrives late, leaves early, or is a no-show. We are a volunteer-driven learning experience for speaking and leadership skills, but with recognition that a fun environment is one of the best learning environments.
