Todd Lake, Base of Broken Top Crater, Crater Ditch

We have 10 permits for this hike. On Sept 7th, I will try to get 2 more and expand the group size.

THE HIKE: 10 miles, 1,200 vertical feet, moderate pace.

This is a fun "lollipop loop" hike which has a lot to offer: beautiful Todd Lake, forest paths, vistas above tree line, streams, springs (even this year), stunning views into the Broken Top crater, and some irrigation features from the early 1900s. We will also do a little off-trail navigation where you can learn or practice map and compass skills if desired. Lots of good water available along the way. We'll take a 30 minute break for lunch next to Crater Ditch.
