What we’re about
American Art Theatre offers acting classes to Long Islands’ Nassau and Suffolk County actors. 8 week semesters based in the techniques of Stanislavski, The Group Theatre and The Actors Studio (Method Acting). Classes cover sense memory, improvisation, scene study, script interpretation and script analysis.
Classes begin - call for start date.
Registration - by appointment, open enrollement.

The American Art Theatre is located at the Huntington Center For Performing Arts 310 New York Ave Huntington N.Y. 11743 (1/2 block North of Main St. across from Book Revue )
8 sessions 2.5- 3 hrs.
Classes are taught by Founder/ Artistic Director Rick Imberman, associate of The Actors Studio, graduate of N.Y.U. Tisch School of the Arts, student of Lee Strasberg, Bobby Lewis, Stella Adler and David Mamet.
