This is a weekly live funk jam in Huntington Beach built around groove, pocket, and real musicianship.
Led by a professional rhythm section and anchored by Dr. Funk, this is a curated jam — not an open mic, not karaoke, and not a free-for-all.
What to expect:
Live funk, soul, and groove music
A tight rhythm section with rotating sit-ins
Musicians welcome to sit in for a few songs (bandstand is directed)
A room that values pocket, feel, and listening
