Kayak Cleanup with the Bolsa Chica Conservancy!

Join the Rotary Club of Huntington Beach for another day of habitat restoration as we clean the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve waters via kayak! Under normal circumstances, the use of recreational watercraft is prohibited in the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve waters, but through a special agreement the Bolsa Chica Conservancy (BCC) has with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, we are permitted the use of kayaks to access trash & debris that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to reach on foot. The BCC is only allowed to do this activity outside of breeding season, which typically falls between the months of October to February, so the window of opportunity is SHORT!
