Volunteer Event: Huntington Harbor Kayak Clean Up

What it is:
A harbor cleanup hosted by Surfrider North OC and sponsored by Huntington Harbor Boat Rentals. This volunteer event is organized by Huntington Beach Rotary.

When:
Sunday, April 12th from 8:15am-11:00am

What we’ll be doing:
We’ll hop into kayaks or stand-up paddleboards and paddle through Huntington Harbor collecting debris and data that helps guide environmental action decisions. The cleanup route goes toward the mouth of the Bolsa Chica Channel and the Sunset/Seal Beach bridge area.

It’s a great way to:
• Give back locally
• Learn about how watershed systems impact our coastline
• Spend a morning on the water with a solid group

Important:
There is a 30-person total limit.
Please RSVP if you are interested! We will send out the final details and exact meeting location closer to the event date.
Afterwards, the group will gather lunch at a nearby location.
