Afro-Jazz Roots Lindy Hop/Social Jazz Dance Crash Course

This is a crash course in lindy hop and partnered social jazz dance hosted by Saturn Jive Dance Space. Anyone who is attending the Afro Jazz Roots workshop on Saturday and Sunday (see bottom) can attend to prepare for the partnered classes.
This class is meant for the hip hop dancers or very beginner swing dancers or any other kind of dancer (or absolutely new/non dancer) who wants to participate in the workshop.
We will be covering Lindy Hop foundational patterns, and partner dance concepts. This is a 2ish hour crash course that is included in the workshop price. If you are not attending the workshop it’s a $25 swing dance crash course.

Optionally, the Afro Jazz Roots 2025 Workshop will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. Attend all or choose which you want to attend.
9 hours of classes (Sat and Sun) Which will be focused not only on the culturally and historical roots of our beloved lindy hop and jazz but also on follow voice and creativity inside the dance.
