Flint River Tube Float ✌️❤️😎

Please read in full: Group will be limited to 25 (1 guest max) We will meet at 10:00am at Talado Landing, see Google map pin at bottom of this message. We will organize the take out vehicles to be staged beforehand at the little cove road take out (will contact those people separately).
Please be aware that there may be some downed trees we will need to get around on a few spots on the river. It would be wise to disconnect from your float group to avoid running into obstacles. Please only RSVP if you’re willing and able to move yourself around the river as needed, around downed trees, and etc.
Please bring your own river float tube, unboxed (river run brand is a good quality tube), pump, carabiners to hook up to other floats, plenty of water, snacks, lunch, sunscreen, watershoes, change of clothes/towel, a water gun if you choose, and a dry bag to keep your things….dry. Some people might want to bring a little paddle for the slow sections.
Be prepared to help carpool/shuttle others. This takes a whole team effort to make this happen.
The total float time will be around 5 hours not including breaks for lunch, etc.
I will call about reservations at Boarhogs BBQ (on 72 about 5 min from Talado landing) to eat after the float.
