Sisters in Service: A Morning of Honor, Stories, and Connection
Details
Join Us in Honoring Those Who Served
Every first Friday of the month, something special happens at the Tut Fann State Veterans Home.
Invisible Warriors, alongside the Marine Corps League, gathers with the residents for a meaningful flag-raising ceremony followed by time spent doing what veterans do best—connecting. We swap stories, share laughter, and create moments that remind each other we’re never alone in this journey.
This is more than a visit. It’s a chance to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with those who’ve walked a similar path… to listen, to be heard, and to simply be among people who understand without needing a full explanation.
We’re inviting women veterans to come be part of this experience.
Come share your stories.
Come hear theirs.
Come build connections that don’t require translating your past.
Whether you stay for a few minutes or the whole morning, your presence matters more than you realize. (Seriously—these residents light up faster than a Fourth of July sparkler when new faces walk in.)
When: First Friday of each month
Where: Tut Fann State Veterans Home, Huntsville
Who: Women veterans ready to connect, honor, and be part of something meaningful
You don’t have to prepare anything. Just bring yourself—and maybe a story or two.
We’ll be there. We’d love for you to be there too.
