We will start by exiting at the opposite end (Northeast) of the parking lot onto the West Trapps Parking Connector for 0.3 mile and make a right turn to cross over Trapps Road Bridge. After about 0.1 mile we will make a left to start climbing on the Millbrook Ridge Trail. We will hike on the ridge until we reach the Millbrook Crag, then the Millbrook mountain viewpoint where the trail will turn into Gertude's Nose Trail.
After Gertrude's nose, we will head down to lake minnewaska and hike up the left / west shore to the beach.
we will then take the orange trail up and take a slight detour to the awosting falls.
Then we will follow the trail up to the parking lot and either cross the road immediately to get up to the SRT or take a few more steps to cross at the end of the parking lot and turn right onto the srt .
Following the srt, we will eventually cross high peters kill. About .5 mile after the crossing, we will take a slight detour to the right for the next break on the compass rock.

After the break, we will continue on the srt until we turn left onto the lost city trail, kings lane and back to srt . This takes us to the coxing trailhead and the coxing kill bridge. After the bridge we will turn right on the shongum (red) path. At the end of the path, west trapps will be just to the right.
