Catskills Katerskill HP - Winter conditions

We start hiking at 0930 so arrive on time. Meet at the parking lot/trail head off of Platte Cove Rd
Hike up the Blue Trail. Short bush wack to the snowmobile loop and then bushwack up and over Hurricane ledge. Down the other side to snowmobile loop and retrace our way back to vehicles.

Distance: ~8-9 miles
Elevation ~1,600 Feet
Duration ~4 hours. Longer if we have to switch to snow shoes.

Gear: Winter Conditions. Layers, gloves, hats, leg gaiters and microspikes. Snow shoes are a maybe. Bring then with you if you have them. Bring snacks and water.
