Meet Time: 9:00 AM (boots on, ready to roll)

Join HVHikers for a winter stoke day at Gore Mountain—one of the best mountains in NY for big vertical, varied terrain, and long cruisers. Whether you’re carving groomers, hunting glades (conditions permitting), or just there for the mountain vibes, this is a great mid-winter meetup.

📍 Where: Gore Mountain (meet-up details/spot will be shared with attendees)
⏰ When: Meet at 9:00 AM and we’ll organize groups from there

🏔️ Plan:
We’ll do a quick hello, break into pace/ability groups, and regroup periodically. You’re welcome to ski/ride independently too—this is a social meetup, not a guided lesson.

🏡 Shared Lodging (Night Before):
Shared lodging may be available the night before for those who want to stay closer to the mountain. Spots are limited—if you’re interested, message Chris Baker to inquire and we’ll share details if it’s still open.

✅ Bring/Know:
• Lift ticket/pass, gear, helmet recommended
• Dress for winter conditions (layers + face protection)
• Plan for changing weather—Gore can get brisk
• Carpooling may be possible—comment if you can drive or need a seat

👋 Who’s this for?
All friendly skiers/boarders are welcome—just be honest about your ability so you end up with the right group.

NOTE: You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. You should review topographic maps and trail features carefully; understanding topography of any hike is key to your knowing where you are, where you're going, and how to get back.
