woodford,vermont cross country skiing and snowshoeing

this trip is somewhat tentative due to current conditions up there. They are supposed to get snow wednesday evening. Prospect mtn nordic center in woodford, VT is gorgeous old school lodge. $27 day pass and they do have rental skis for additional cost. We will try to meet up there by 12:30 ish Sunday to ski a couple hours and grab some local dinner afterwards. im staying with my buddy in manchester but there's a few mom and pop motel/hotels nearby for decent prices. i can get that info. the next morning Monday we can start the day early with a 3.5 mile amazing fairly easy snowshoe hike around a lake 15 minutes from ski place. we can then xc ski in early afternoon again before heading home. Or you can stay one more night. Bromley ski resort is close by too. the itinerary is somewhat flexible depending on interest but it's an incredible area in southern Vermont. we can also organize some carpooling. text or call me with questions 770-757-4457
