Let's meet at 11:00 am at the Eleanor Roosevelt National
Historic Site parking lot. Bring water and snacks. We will need to drive between hikes.
We will start out with hike H, taking the red trail for a 1 mile loop on Eleanor's Walk to get loosened up, before taking the Top Cottage Trail (hike I, tulip-tree leaf markers) for a two-mile out-and-back.
Next we will relocate cars to the end of Terwilliger Rd, where we'll hike the Winnakee Nature Preserve Trail (hike E) in a loop for 1.3 miles.
Afterwards we'll move the cars again, this time to Hackett Hill Park; the parking lot is on East Market St. From there we'll do an easy 1.1 mile loop on the Woodland trail (green) and the Guinea Community trail (red).
Finally, we'll relocate to Pinewoods Park, where we'll finish up our fifth trail with the Pinewoods Nature Trail Loop (hike C), which is just 3/4 of a mile.
Once complete, we can head over to the Vanderbilt Mansion to receive our 2025 patches!
