** Rock Wall Pub is a nice place for post-hike food and drink. It's only a few minutes from the trailhead.

The hike:
We start hiking at 8am. There is NO SWEEP. ** Groups tend to get very spread out on this hike. Every hiker is responsible for themselves and must be able to navigate on his/her own. This is a great hike of Storm King, Butter Hill & North Point. Pace will be a pretty steady 2.3-2.4MPH average with several short breaks. There will be 3 long uphills and a couple short, steep rock scrambles. We'll hit several great viewpoints with views of the Hudson River, Breakneck, Schunnemunk, the Catskills, etc. If you choose to hike faster or slower than the main group, just know the route and possible bailout points.

The route:
- From the lot, take trail across the field and start up the teal-colored trail.
- After 7/10th mile, turn left onto yellow Stillman Trail. Continue 2 miles.
- Go over summit of Storm King to blue trail.
- Turn left onto blue. C trailontinue 1/2 mile to blue/white.
- Turn right onto blue/white and go 300 yards.
- Turn left onto blue and head downhill 1.4 miles to white (woods road).
- Turn left onto white trail. Continue to Rt. 218.
- Turn right at 218. Go 75 feet to blue trail.
- Take blue 3.4 miles back to the white By-pass trail.
- Turn left onto white and continue to Rt. 9W.
- Turn right onto orange trail and continue about 3/4 mile to yellow.
- Turn right onto yellow to summit of Butter Hill.
- After summit continue 3/10th mile to the Blue/Red Trail.

- Turn left onto yellow. Continue about 3/4 mile
