This is for advanced hikers only!
Meet at Biscuit Brook Parking area on Frost valley road (Route 47) at 8:30 am sharp. We will consolidate into as few cars as possible and shuttle over to McKinley Hollow parking area. We will hike to Balsam Mountain 1st, Eagle Mountain 2nd, Big Indian Mountain 3rd, Fir Mountain 4th then bushwhack to Biscuit Brook Parking area and shuttle back to our cars.
***Safety eye-glasses are recommended for off trail bushwhacking***
Hike length= approximately 13 miles
Elevation Gain= approximately 4000'
Route type= Traverse
This is for advanced hikers only! Only experienced, self-reliant hikers in strong physical condition should go on this hike.
Everyone will initially be placed on the waitlist. I reserve the right to save spots for people I know I can rely on to show up and be prepared.
NOTE: You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. You should review topographic maps and trail features carefully; understanding topography of any hike is key to your knowing where you are, where you're going, and how to get back.
