Bear Mountain up Major Welch to west mountain shelter

Meet at Bear Mountain Inn, hike along Hessian Lake and cut left up the Major Welch Trail to Perkins Tower on the summit of Bear Mountain. Then take the AT cross over to the AT out to the West Mountain Shelter where we will eat lunch. Then take the Suffern-Bear Mountain trail back to Bear Mountain INN
