Tailgate Social & Sunset Boat Tour @ Lake Jocassee

Experience the most relaxing time of day on one of America's most beautiful lakes!

Unwind at the end of a long day and make new friends when you join Jocassee Lake Tours for a relaxing Sunset Tour. They don’t go very far and they don’t go very fast (though there is always a waterfall or two to see) on this late day excursion. Watching the color change over the mountains and across the water is nothing short of magical!

Day-parking fee is not included with boat tour ticket. You will need to stop at Ranger Station to pay parking fee (unless you have a seasonal pass) and obtain a hang-tag for your car.

THE MEETUP - Where we will be...
Upon entering the park, stay RIGHT and follow signs to the Ranger Station. Park in the upper parking area near the Oconee Bell Nature Trail. Arrive a bit early and join us for a Tailgate Social from 4-5pm. Bring your own food & drinks, adult-beverages are allowed.

THE BOAT - What to Bring & Know...

• Small cooler of anything you would like to eat/drink
• Dress in seasonally appropriate clothing
• Evenings can be chilly on the lake, so bring along a jacket or blanket
• Camera
• Appropriate gratuities for your guide are greatly appreciated!
• Restroom facilities are available near the Ranger Station
• "Nature breaks" are offered during the tour, upon request

CARPOOLING...
We have two 7-8 passenger vehicles if anyone is interested in carpooling 'down-the-mountain'. Just send me a message and we will coordinate.
