Virtual Lightning Talks

Details

2020 has been a wild year. We've been through a lot, and learned a lot along the way! So let's come together one last time this year to learn from each other - lighting talk style! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

⚡️ What's A Lightning Talk?⚡️

Lightning talks are very short presentations lasting only a few minutes. Anyone can give a lightning talk. Even you! Did you spend quarantine learning about a new technology? Are you involved in an exciting project? Do you have a story to tell? This is your opportunity to share with the community!

⚡️ How Do I Sign Up? ⚡️

Sorry, we're all full! The deadline to sign up was December 4th. We've got an incredible lineup. You're gonna love it.

⚡️ What Else Do I Need To Know? ⚡️

  • Your lightning talk should tell a story, educate the audience on a topic you are knowledgable about, etc.
  • Your talk should last no more than 5 minutes
  • Your talk should not be an advertisement for your business.
  • Your talk needs to be in compliance with the HV Tech Code of Conduct (https://www.meetup.com/hvtech/pages/23582997/Code_of_Conduct/)

We are accepting submissions until Dec 4th, at which point we will contact you for next steps. There are limited slots so please fill this out as soon as you can! We do not require you have the whole presentation ready in order to sign up, just an idea of what you want to talk about.

⚡️ Do I Have To Present? ⚡️
No! All are welcome to join in, listen, and learn. We look forward to seeing you there!
