Welcome to Hwatu Hangout 🎴, a community for learning and playing hwatu (Korean flower card) games like Go-Stop.

We host monthly meetups where all ages 18+ and experience levels are welcome. Hope to see you at our next hangout!

Be considerate of others. Waitlists can be common so update your RSVP if you know you're not able to come to the hangout. 3 No-Shows will lead to removal from the group.

FOR BEGINNERS
If you've ever seen Korean movies or shows, you may have seen characters play with small red cards decorated with flowers and animals. Those cards are called "hwatu" or flower cards. During this next Hwatu Hangout (Chrysanthemum Edition!), we will be playing Seotda, a popular Korean card game, along with a couple of other variations of this game.
