Beginners ( Top Rope ) Rock Climbing @ Khajaguda

In this session, we'll be teaching you how to climb with the safety of a rope.
We'll start with simple bouldering for people who have never climbed before. Bouldering is a form of rock climbing where we climb rocks that are less than 20 feet in height. After a mini bouldering session, we'll head on to taller rocks and with the safety of a rope, we'll teach you how to climb them.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to try out a new sport, please join us for a beginners session at Khajaguda.
If you have never climbed before, you are in for a surprise as this sport develops your balance, focus, mental and physical strength! We are a fun group and will definitely make you enjoy this sport.

People who have already done rock climbing before are welcome to join us climbers for a fun session outdoors and get to know the people in the club!

The gear is provided by the club which just requires a pair of rock climbing shoes, crash pad, ropes, helmets and harnesses.

We start with a warm up session and easier boulders for beginners.

Damages:

Cost = Rs 800 (club fund 100 + gear rental 700)
(If you have your own shoe, the cost is 600 for new members)

Things to bring:

2. Rock climbing shoe if you have one. Club has shoes for UK5 to UK10
3. Track Pants/ Shorts/ T-shirts/ sun hat/cap, Sun shades. Sun screen. Avoid Jeans and shorts (as beginners can scrape their knees).
4. At least 1 litre of water(MUST). Do not expect anyone to share their water with you.
5. Wear Chappal/ Sandals so that it is convenient to frequently switch to climbing shoes. We won't be doing any hard hiking so shoes are not necessary
