About us
LFDT Meetup groups have an informal relationship with LF Decentralized Trust and make up a key part of the LFDT ecosystem. Participation in a LFDT Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a LFDT member company, LFDT contributors and developers, and people just passionate about distributed trust technology.

Introduction to Lockness – Production-Ready MPC ecosystem
·OnlineOnline89 attendees from 150 groupsBuilding and deploying a distributed system that removes the Single Point of Failure is difficult. At Lockness (https://github.com/LFDT-Lockness), we make Multi-Party Computation (MPC) more accessible to both consumers, who integrate MPC into their infrastructure, and cryptographers, who develop distributed protocols. Join our introductory call to discover what Lockness offers, how you can benefit, and how to get involved in the ecosystem.

ZK Learning Group: ZoKrates
·OnlineOnline193 attendees from 149 groupsA learning group for zero knowledge and SNARK application development.
During the year we will systematically explore different aspects of zero knowledge and SNARK programming in application development.
Coordination of the learning group is in the discord channel of Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust: https://discord.com/channels/905194001349627914/1329201532628898036Github repo for the lab:

Enabling Anyone to Build and Operate Decentralized Networks with Hiero
·OnlineOnline200 attendees from 150 groupsJoin us for a meetup exploring Hiero (https://github.com/hiero-ledger), an open-source, vendor-neutral distributed ledger technology (DLT) stack that powers the Hedera Network. In this session, Hendrik Ebbers (https://github.com/hendrikebbers) will demonstrate how easy it is to deploy a Hiero-based network for either public or private use.
The live demo will show how to spin up a network and build a simple application that connects to it using one of the available SDKs. Attendees will learn how an application communicates with the network and submits transactions in real time.
This meetup is ideal for developers interested in learning how to deploy decentralized networks and build applications that interact with them using Hiero.
