What we’re about
The Hyperledger Foundation is an open source collaborative effort hosted by the Linux Foundation and created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies. Participation is open to all.
Hyperledger Meetup groups have an informal relationship with Hyperledger, and make up a key part of the Hyperledger ecosystem. Participation in a Hyperledger Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a Hyperledger member company, Hyperledger contributors and developers, and people just passionate about blockchain technology.

See all- Network event490 attendees from 132 groups hostingUnderstanding Byzantine Fault Tolerance in Hyperledger FabricLink visible for attendees
Explore the forefront of decentralized reliability in this meetup spotlighting the Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus within Hyperledger Fabric. Essential for true decentralization and fault tolerance, BFT takes center stage as the latest pinnacle in Hyperledger Fabric's evolution.
Under the guidance of Yacov Manevich, the architect behind this feature, this meetup unveils the seamless integration of the SmartBFT consensus library into Hyperledger Fabric.
From adept developers to intrigued enthusiasts, this meetup unfurls a deep understanding of BFT's indispensable role in distributed ledgers. Discover not only why BFT consensus is needed for decentralized ledgers, but also how it operates. Lastly, understand the new requirements in deploying and operating a Fabric network with a BFT ordering service.

This meetup will cover deploying a Hyperledger Fabric 2.5.x network using Bevel with the help of Bevel-Operator-Fabric. We will deploy the Fabric network on a Managed Kubernetes Cluster. If you would like to follow the steps, all you need is a Managed Kubernetes Cluster. We will also discuss on the differences between Bevel and Bevel-Operator-Fabric.

Join us for an insightful webinar with Sovrin Foundation, a Hyperledger Associate Member. Sovrin Trustee Line Kofoed will present a deep dive into how rights-based governance can guide risk assessment and dictate policy requirements for digital identity systems. Sovrin Foundation developed an ecosystem governance framework based on 12 principles of Self-Sovereign Identity in order to govern the participants in the ecosystem built around Sovrin MainNet, a Hyperledger Indy-based public-permissioned decentralized network for digital identity.
