About us

Welcome to HTRPG community! We are a bunch of tabletop role-playing gamers based off the city of Hyderabad, India.

What is a role-playing game?

A role-playing game is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting, or through a process of structured decision-making regarding character development. Actions taken within many games succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines.

What is a table-top role-playing game?

A role-playing game played on a table-top! it's that simple. This picture below should give you an idea of typical setup of a table-top role-playing game.

What games do we play?

We play both Dungeons and Dragons (5E) and Pathfinder. Currently we are playing Pathfinder Society. Know more about the games by clicking the links below:

Can absolute beginners, who have no prior experience, play?

Absolutely! We are very friendly to beginners. The very nature of table-top RPGs makes them look difficult, confusing and complicated at first, for new players. More so in India, as this culture is still in its very nascent stages. But when you have a beginner friendly community like us, learning the rules will be both fun and easy, rest assured.

How do I stay on top of the gaming schedule?

There are two ways. You can either join our whatsapp group or download the meetup app on your mobile, to be notified of our next gaming session.
