🍂 Kick Off the Fall Season with Your First Intermediate Nordic Walking Class! 🍂

Step back onto the trails in Central Park for a full-body, invigorating workout designed for walkers with experience and a moderate fitness level.

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY WITH MODERATE FITNESS LEVEL.

Walking with Nordic poles engages your whole body creating a balanced, dynamic workout on continually changing terrain. Real time Neuro-Movement instruction provides a full mind/body experience, invigorating in a natural way. Exercising outdoors or “green exercise” has many additional benefits to indoor fitness activities, including stress management, improved self-esteem and mood, increased frequency of exercise, and improved sense of well-being.

Sonja will be providing personalized instruction on this moderate paced 2.5 mile walk. Class includes a warm up, basic instruction, 45 min walk and cool down.

✅REQUIREMENTS:

  • 👟Dress for running - wear layers and good shoes.
  • 😎 Protection from the elements: hat, scarf, gloves and sunglasses.
  • 💧Consider a small bottle of water.
  • ⛷🚶🏽‍♀️⛷I will provide a pair of poles (please let me know if you have your own)
  • ❌WHAT NOT TO BRING:
  • 🎒No bags, purses or backpacks.
