About the speakers:

Somboon Chiewcharnpipat, VP of Data Analytics at Krungthai Bank

Somboon has been analyzing financial data throughout his professional life. He earned his MBA from University of California, Berkeley, after which he built and ran a global macro statistical arbitrage strategy for a hedge fund in Greenwich, CT. Afterwards he co-founded a private wealth management startup in San Francisco providing unbiased, simulation-based advice and execution years before the term 'FinTech' came about.

Now he heads retail banking data analytics at Thailand's largest commercial bank. His current interest lies in separating truths from lies in service data and cascading data-driven insights down the chain of command.
