"You Choose" Book Discussion: Price of Happiness and/or A Life in Small Things

We are doing something different this month! Both authors Ingur Sigrun Bredkjaer Brody (Jane Austen and the Price of Happiness) and Paula Byrne (The Real Jane Austen: A Life in Small Things) will be speaking at the JASNA Annual General Meeting in October. Both books are excellent, and we couldn't decide between them, so we've left it up to each of you to read whichever you want (or both) and we'll discuss them both at our September meeting. This way, we will all have some idea what they're about before potentially hearing the authors speak. Choose your own adventure, and we'll see you Sept 21!

We will meet upstairs at Backwater Books again. If the weather is nice, we may move outside to the deck. After the book discussion, we'll walk to somewhere nearby in Ellicott City to hang out.

Note: Please leave some time for parking, there are free public lots off Main Street, Lots D and E are within easy walking distance of Backwater Books.
