About us
Well, some of us HAVE HOBBIES, but this group is for diverse-interest people who want to sample a variety of fun events that may include dancing, arts, food, music, parks, walks, talks/discussions (our own or outside events), picnics, last-minute concerts, etc. This group is under new management and we will work with everyone to build the flavor of the group as we collaborate and enable additional organizers.
I think the group (has and) will center around people aged 40 to 70 (roughly), but that is only a guess -- let's just say that if you can let your inner child out then you are welcome. The group was founded as leaning towards singles, so let's say that will be supported but not the only focus. Couples welcome. Individuals in relationships are also a great fit. Also, just anyone who wants events where they can show up solo and meet new friends is the main direction I see, I now see the name "I have no hobbies" as a whimsical and modest was to suggest that we are looking to have fun, meet people, find hobbies, etc. (I think it is a catchy name.) Our dream is to build something over time -- friendships. Can we achieve something that is greater than just some "consumable time filler?" Yes, we can.
This is just a placeholder description as the group just changed owners today. So, stay tuned for a few new events coming soon.
Thanks, Joe and Graeme
