A(slightly inconvenient) East Austin Halloween Bar Crawl
Details
It's Fall y'all! I am not usually a huge bar guy, but I LOVE all things Halloween, and there are a few bars in East Austin doing Halloween pop ups! Let's hit the bars, grab a drink, and take in the spooky vibes!
The Bars/events:
Black Lagoon at King Bee
https://blacklagoonpopup.com (spooky tiki bar vibes)
Moe's Tavern at Nickel City https://austin.eater.com/2024/10/11/24267904/nickel-city-simpsons-halloween-pop-up-moes-tavern-2024 (Simpsons theme)
Lefty's Shop of Horrors at Lefty's Brick Bar https://tribeza.com/events/leftys-shop-of-horrors/ (Halloween pop up/themed decorations/DJ)
Now for the slightly inconvenient part... According to Google Maps the bars are about a 15-20 minute walk(approx. .7 miles) from one another. People could theoretically ride share between the bars, but I generally think it's easier to walk if you're willing/able, and of course we would walk over as a group. We would go to the bars in the order posted up above.
I think would like to grab a drink at each bar, and I believe some have food trucks and things like that as well. Keep in mind that these events can be EXTREMELY crowded/popular, and there's a 15-20 minute walk between the bars, so times for everything are very up in the air. I figure we'd spend about an hour or so at each bar. I will post on here about where we're at/when we're going to the next place. There's also a lot of stuff around Lefty's(the final bar) if people still do want to stay out/go somewhere else after we're done, but it'll probably be pretty late.
Fall/spooky clothes are definitely encouraged, BUT MAKE SURE you're wearing something comfortable if you plan on walking with us.
I will post what I am wearing/how to find us closer to the event, but I'll have glow sticks or something like that that's easy to find.
