Arrive early to account for parking and walking to our Meetup location. At 5:45 we will walk together to our destination.
We will meet at the intersection of McKinney and Nash Avenue. There is FREE on-street parking. There are two parking lots at this location that belong to a church. I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER YOU CAN PARK IN THESE LOTS OR NOT.
Quite possibly the number one reason why I love Austin: Adult trick-or-treating. If you’re attending the Halloween party at Wyndham posted with this Meetup group, no need to fear, you don’t have to choose. You can do both like me!
Costumes, no costumes or lame costumes, pick your poison. ☠️
All ages are welcome to go door-to-door collecting candy. Some houses may offer alcohol instead.
After we meet, we’ll walk 5 to 10 minutes to a neighborhood that goes all out for trick-or-treating. This neighborhood will be closed to traffic and have spooky decorations, music, and the legendary van driver from The Chainsaw Massacre.
The aforementioned Halloween party is only 10 minutes away, so plenty of time to get there at the start.
Let’s celebrate Halloween like we are kids again!
