Weekly Board and Party Games

Some folks show up every week, some pop in and out. Had this one guy, played cards with us for a year, then up and moved for a job. We all got a bit misty-eyed when he left. Made me realize we were more than just a bunch of board game nerds.
We started this whole shebang just to have some people to play games with. But it turned into something more. It’s a place to make friends, a place to fit in, a place for some good, clean, predictable fun. Kinda like that bar where everybody knows your name, you know? So if you’re curious about what this is all about, drop by on a Thursday.

You can waltz in and out whenever you want. If we’re in the middle of a game, just grab a seat and wait your turn. We usually wrap things up around 8:30. No pressure to stick around longer than you want or to be punctual!
Most of the time, we just pick a game on the fly. But if you’ve got a game you’re itching to play, just ask. We’ll see if anyone else is game. We often have a new game each week. One of us will teach it, so no worries if you’ve never played before.

*We’re here every Thursday, come rain or shine.
* voluntary contribution (noone turned away) to help support game purchase, name tags, etc. requestsed $1 per person per meet. My venmo is @dao5002 and the last four of my phone is 6762. We are also not opposed to cash, but apparently that makes us dinosaurs.
*In lieu of money, other ways you can contribute:
1. bringing/teaching games
2. welcoming new members
3. organizing game play
*Kids 12 and up are welcome, but they gotta have an adult with them.
