This is a a group for people who live and work In NY and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are : Speed Dating, Museums, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.
This group is NOT about pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

THIS IS NOT A DATING EVENT! If you are looking to expand your social circle, get some fresh air and make new friends/activity partners, then this Meetup is for you!HOW IT WORKS:
- Prior to the event, we will email you with some ice breaker questions that you can use, or you can make up your own.
- At the event, participants will be broken up into groups of 3-4 people.
- The group will stay together for about 5-10 minutes and at the end of the round, half of the participants will move to a new station and start a new round, meeting new people.

How many will attend? This is a MULTI-GROUP partner Meetup. Don't go by the RSVPs you see in this group alone. We will have a good number of members attending.Can I come alone? Yes. 95% of those attending will be coming on their own. This is a great way to network, connect and make new friends!

Mix and mingle on a Thursday afterwork in one of N.Y. C’s most attractive bi-level bars. IF IT RAINS, the outdoor rooftop/sundeck will still have covering!

Here is how it will work: Upon entry you will screen shot to scan 25 different life experiences that you may or may have not had. Each listed experience is interesting and informative! Examples of these categories are speaking more than 1 language, loves to travel, fancies a particular cuisine and so on. Carefully look over the categories/experiences and choose which ones resonate with you! While engaging in conversations with others, you may find someone who possesses these commonalities and shared experiences that you would prefer in a potential partner!
