### Join us for an evening at Stanford University as we attend a public lecture exploring one of the biggest open questions in modern physics.

Nearly 30 years ago, scientists discovered that the Universe is not just expanding — it’s accelerating. Since then, a fundamental question remains:
what is driving this acceleration?
Is it dark energy — or are we still missing something essential in our understanding of the laws of physics?

***

### About the Lecture

This talk will explore cosmic acceleration through the lens of galaxies and large-scale structure.
We’ll touch on:
✨ how scientists use galaxies to “read” the history of the Universe
✨ new methods for measuring cosmic expansion
✨ the role of dark energy in shaping the cosmos
✨ and why, decades later, this mystery is still unresolved
It’s a rare opportunity to get a glimpse into the frontiers of cosmology.
