We are heading to East Village! Specializing in wood fire cooking 🪵🔥, our CDMX culinary favorite is touching down stateside for its 10-year-annivesary for a Limited-run PopUp! Save on the flight ✈️ to Mexico City! Maycoll Calderón, the chef and an owner of Huset Cocina de Campo, known for “field cooking” over wood fires for the past 10 years in the Roma Norte section of Mexico City. Calderon will be firing up dishes with a rustic Mexican flair, rotating daily with fresh finds from the Union Square Greenmarket. Mr. Calderón, who worked with Jean-Georges Vongerichten earlier in his career, plans to change the dinner menu daily and a New York crowd should feel at home with dishes like tuna tartare, shrimp ceviche, steak taco, roasted sea bass, arroz con pollo and pork Milanese with salad. In between bites, sip on Mexican wines + cocktails inspired by Calderon’s CDMX speakeasy Hanky Panky (#42 in the World 🌎). On those first warmer spring days, the pop-up will extend onto the gorgeous outdoor Garden Terrace. PLEASE BE ON TIME!!! 😊
