Uncovering IEnumerables
IEnumerables are an oft-used, yet oft-misunderstood tool in many codebases. What is an enumerable, anyway, and what's the difference between an enumerable and a list? When do I want to call ToList()? What is the .NET framework doing for us behind the scenes? This session will cover what exactly your compiler is doing for you under the hood with IEnumerable, the reason it exists in this world, and practical examples for when and why to use an IEnumerable, a List, or something else.
