Facilitation at the European Commission - FacWeek 2025

Come and join us on 14 May 2025, for our next IAF Belgium meeting, starting at 18.30, at The Mug (Clyde Room), Rue Charles Martel 8, 1000 Brussels.

We will be welcoming Graziana Lonero and Agnes Gorgemans, both from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Human Resources and working in the area of organisational development (within a body called The Centre for Organisational Transformation).

They manage the internal facilitators’ community offering internal consultancy and facilitation of different types and scale of events, using participatory processes.

They will be accompanied by Jan Hein Nielsen, Managing Director and/or Senior Consultant at AIM & Associés Srl who currently hold the framework contract for Learning & Development and Organisational Development with the EU Institutions through the European School of Administration.

Our visitors will have a conversation with us about what it is like to work as an external facilitator with the European Commission, and how the Commission’s internal facilitators work with the external ones, in a context of changing facilitation needs, modernisation of facilitation tools and processes, and tighter budgets than previously.
