Events are dead. Long live online!
For now at least!

We’ve cancelled our networking events for, well, obvious reasons. One specific obvious reason!

But we don’t want everyone to be isolated, ESPECIALLY at a time when business is tough. I’ve talked to a lot of business owners and everyone is already feeling the strain. Now is the time to rally together as a community rather than disintegrate.

Unfortunately meeting up is tricky!

Therefore I’ve put together a Slack channel to help communicate and keep sane.

What is slack? It’s a free messaging platform. Why not use WhatsApp? Because whatsapp is chaos!
Slack allows us to have separate channels for different discussions and generally organise things a little better. It’s free to use and that link will get you signed up and into the slack channel.

We’ll be using Slack as a way to keep in touch during the next few months. It’s a brand new channel so it’ll evolve depending on needs.
Want to run a lesson for people in the community? Awesome, we can sort that out. Looking for JVs? No problem. We can shape the tool depending on the community needs.

On Thursday (the time of the original physical event) hopefully we can get a few people online all at the same time to start building critical mass. I’ll hop on camera too to say hello!
