Nekesha Burrell - On My Way to Meet God

Nekesha Burrell is an author, speaker, mentor, and founder of the Sacred Mirror Method™ and Soul Shift Academy. Following a profound Near-Death Experience in 2021, she returned with a renewed understanding of life, love, suffering, consciousness, and the extraordinary connection that exists within all of us.

Through her work, Nekesha guides others through what she calls The 12-Inch Journey—the sacred path from the mind to the heart. Drawing from her Near-Death Experience, personal transformation, and years of supporting individuals through life's transitions, she helps people reconnect with themselves, navigate grief and change, and discover the peace and wisdom that often lie beneath suffering.

Through immersive experiences, courses, workshops, and her global online community, Soul Shift Academy, Nekesha supports individuals in moving from self-abandonment to self-remembrance, reclaiming their inner truth, and learning how to live with greater presence, trust, and authenticity.
She is the author of On My Way to Meet God, a heartfelt account of her Near-Death Experience and the lessons it revealed about our humanity, our purpose, and the love that continues beyond this life. Also, Seasons of Grace, a reflective prayer journal invites readers into deeper presence, gratitude, and connection with the sacred in everyday life, and more.

Nekesha offers mentoring, immersive transformational experiences, courses, workshops, and community support through Soul Shift Academy. Her work focuses on helping individuals move from self-abandonment to self-connection, navigate life's transitions with compassion, and cultivate deeper trust in themselves and life.

About Northern Virginia IANDS:
IANDS NoVA events give you a unique opportunity to attend live events.
The opportunity to interact with our guests live and ask questions is a significant step above passively watching recorded videos.

Our mission is to offer a venue for sharing and learning to individuals who have experienced a Near Death Experience, (NDE), a Share Death Experience (SDE), a Spiritually Transformative Experience (STE) or who are merely interested in NDEs and other metaphysical topics. We invite speakers, view videos, hold Q&A sessions, and encourage discussion in a respectful, safe, and welcoming environment.

Everyone is welcome! Our events are now bi-monthly at 2PM EST, typically on the fourth Sunday of the month (although that can vary). We are volunteer-based and ask for a minimal $5 contribution (more is welcome) to offset Zoom subscription, IANDS’ dues, speaker honoraria, and other expenses.
