We are pleased to have an Options specialist present to our groups on the topic of using derivative options to enhance a stock portfolio return. The meeting location is hosted by Charles Schwab and Options Express.
Learn ABCs of Options Trading from a former Options Market Marker Ready for a full night on Options? We will cover everything from “soup to nuts” for Options. We will start with a quick Options review, to Options Strategies with Stock Ownership. Then we will talk about Spreads to Reduce Risk and using Credit Spreads as a source of Income. For the advanced traders, we will cover selling Butterflies and Condors and using Implied Volatility during events like Earnings. At the end, you can ask any question in the open Q&A with the former Market Maker.
Jim Rousing is Trading Solutions Regional Manager for Options Express. He has over 30 years of trading experience gained from running an arbitrage desk on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and as an Options Market Maker for 80 stocks on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Pacific Stock Exchange (PSE). Mr. Rouzan shares his expertise on Option Strategy topics such as Option Volatility, Advanced Spreads, and Earnings events by creating educational material,and presenting educational webinars and trading workshops across the country. In addition, he has been a featured presenter for many trading clubs including the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), Various Universities, Options Insider Radio, The Money Show and the International Traders’ Expos.
