This virtual meetup will dive into the features and functionality of containers, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. No prior OpenShift or Kubernetes experience is necessary; we will cover the basics and start from square one. A live demo will be performed of both technologies, at which point you will be given the opportunity to provision your own instance as part of the (optional) hands-on lab. This is a concepts class which will build into next week’s discussion of microservices - and other important open source, cloud native container technologies in the weeks and months to come.
