Industry 5.0 is here with rapid advancement of emerging technologies such as digital twins and GenAI-powered robotic systems, there is an urgent need for training the next generation workforce and transforming the current workforce to be AI-assisted professionals. Educational institutions can use MAAI to provide all-round learning support such as project idea generation, task management, and mental therapy. Moreover, MAAI can engage in group discussions and provide feedback to project members, rather than conventional one-on-one chatbot conversation.

About the speaker
Dr. Rui Li is an assistant professor running Flexible AI-enabled Mechatronic Lab (FAMS) at Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering/General Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He has an educational background in chemical and robotic engineering. He has professional experience in the telecommunication and medical industries. He has a few medical devices being used for human trials at the Center for Clinical Oncology, National Institute of Health. His current research interests lie in physical AI and transformative medical technologies.
