Debbie Furman is a Senior Technical Staff Member computer programmer at IBM specializing in software testing and quality assurance. She has been a member of Toastmasters International since 2018 and in that time has gone from observing toastmaster meetings to being the President of the IBM Poughkeepsie Toastmasters club. As part of Toastmasters, she has participated in and placed second in two different speech competitions.  As part of her work with the IBM, she has helped to create and teach an Advanced Communication Class and a Designing Effective Presentations Class.
