Are you ready? Can your clients count on you for help with content marketing?

As consumers turn away from traditional advertising, content marketing is the new way for businesses to connect. The strategy is to deliver ongoing, useful information so that prospective customers will ultimately reward you with business and loyalty. It’s like selling without selling.

Join us to learn how you and your clients can use content marketing to generate leads, increase customer loyalty and increase sales.

Our speaker is Melissa Breau, a copywriter, editor and content marketing consultant who helps clients maximize their profits. She specializes in working with owners of small businesses, particularly those in the pet industry or whose sales are B2B, and self-publishing authors.

Melissa, who holds a master’s degree in publishing, has both publishing and marketing experience. Her expertise pays off for author-clients, who routinely get five-star Amazon reviews, and small business clients who rave about their increased email response and awesome feedback from their own clients on their marketing materials.

Melissa is a contributing editor and columnist for Pet Business Magazine, She’s Self Employed and writes regularly for several other online publications.

During our meeting, you will learn:

· the most common types of content marketing (blogging, email newsletters, white papers, case studies)

· basic principles for using each one successfully.

In rare moments when she's not working, Melissa likes to spend time with her two-year-old German Shepherd. She also enjoys long walks on the beach, arguing about comma placement and talking shop on Twitter.

Her background includes work for DSGNR Unlimited, Columbia University Press and the Manhattanville College Marketing Department.
