“My mission is to help you get seen and heard, to get your message out and bring in people who want and need what you have to offer.” ~ Mark Traphagen

A former teacher and school administrator, Mark Traphagen has been involved in social media and online community formation since the mid-1990s and has worked directly in Internet marketing since 2005.

When he learned of Google’s plans to launch Google+ in 2011, Mark immediately recognized the incredible marketing potential. He knew that Google would integrate Google+ into YouTube and its other company platforms.

Once Google+ launched, Mark was on board by Day 3. He has been a daily active user (https://plus.google.com/+MarkTraphagen/posts) ever since. When Google Authorship came along, he became hyper-focused on building strategies to increase the reach and influence of his clients.

Today Mark is a nationally recognized expert on Google+, Google Authorship, and influencer marketing. His skills include social media strategies, Google+ Business pages, Search Engine Optimization, Internet marketing, content marketing, organic link building and anything else related to connecting on the web.

He is the Senior Director of Online Marketing for Stone Temple Consulting, a leading digital marketing agency, with responsibility for strategic planning and implementing the online branding, promotion and reputation of Stone Temple Consulting. He blogs at http://www.stonetemple.com/blog/ . Moz.com, which boasts a website following of more than one million, named one of Mark’s blogs to their January Top Ten list of best marketing and SEO blogs in the world.

Mark has an online network of more than 70,000 social media followers and has created the largest online community on Google Authorship and Author Rank (http://bit.ly/AuthorshipCommunity). He is working on one book on the effect of Google+ on SEO and another on Google Authorship and Author Rank.

Mark is an in-demand speaker at major conferences such as SMX, SEOClarity and ConvergeSouth, and a regular panelist on Google+ webinars for Fortune 500 companies and universities. He also writes a monthly column for Maximize Social Business (http://maximizesocialbusiness.com/author/mark-traphagen/) and contributes to other sites.

In 2011, Mark received the Communicator’s Award of Distinction from the International Academy of Visual Arts Education, which recognizes innovative ideas in marketing and communication. This is an annual invitation-only, international competition that receives more than 6000 entries from media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.

Meanwhile, since 2011 Google+ has grown to an estimated 400 million users. As Mark could foresee, it is far more than a social media network. Google+ connects with Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Analytics, Google Images, Google Earth, Google Finance, Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Wallet.

Once you understand Google+, you can begin to grasp the awesome power of Google’s reach and control on the Internet.

During Mark’s presentation, you will learn:
