Trader Talk at River City Brewing Company!

Last meetup we talked about various trading instruments in the context of strategy development, risk management, market regimes, broker/platform selection, automation, traveling, dating (lol), and much, much more. I'd like to welcome newcomers Joe and Jose to the group! Your contributions were excellent!

By next meetup the new trading year will be underway. We'll discuss the first couple weeks of the year and what the early numbers may portend for the future. Many still believe the market will create a new low. Historically the low doesn't occur until AFTER the Fed stops raising rates.

I think now would be a good time to brush up on asset hedging strategies. Volatility is a trader's bread and butter, but for those who can't/won't leave the market, there's no need to sweat it out. There are plenty of ways to insure a portfolio of stock (or even coins), and get paid for sitting through a deep pullback.
