How to become an Idaho Hikers & Backpackers Event Organizer: Online training/Q&A

Do you have an interest in leading a hike, backpacking trip, snowshoe, training hike, social event, or outdoor workshop for the group? This online training is designed for members who are interested in becoming event organizers and learning how we safely and successfully run events within Idaho Hikers & Backpackers.
Whether you are brand new to organizing or already have experience leading outdoor activities, this session will help you better understand the expectations, planning process, communication strategies, and leadership skills that help create great group experiences. We need you!

## Event Format

This will be an online discussion and training session with time for questions and open conversation. Participants are encouraged to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from each other’s experiences.
We will also review important group rules and regulations, discuss organizer responsibilities, and introduce resources available to help organizers plan and lead successful events.
