Name: Rocky Canyon and Waterfall

We will hike to the canyon for views and then hike over to the waterfall, returning to make it a complete figure 8 loop. I have not been out there this year to see what happened with all the construction last year so be flexible in case we need to adjust. Distance will be between 8 +/- miles, approximately 1000' of elevation gain. We will hike at a moderately fast pace, average 20 minute miles. Know your ability. If you think this hike might be too fast or too long of a hike for you, do some other hikes first. If you like to go faster, you will need to adjust to my pace or post and lead faster hikes.

The weather is predicted to be sunny, 50-60 degrees. Bring water and snacks, and dress appropriate for the temperatures.

I was unable to edit the pin for location: Directions--Head north from Eagle on Eagle Road, which becomes Willow Creek Road. The big dirt lot is on the right three or four miles north of Beacon Light Rd. (If you come to Aerie Rd you have gone too far.)
