This is an introductory-level Rust get-together.
Last month's get-together was a presentation of Tauri, a framework similar to Electron, but that uses Rust for the backend. Tauri is front-end agnostic, so JavaScript frameworks like React can be used with Tauri, but I'll be demonstrating Tauri with Yew--a Rust framework.

Cliff Matthews (aka Lazy Young Deadhead) has been programming a long time. He lost his memory in a poker game and consequently relies on Rust to have his back (since he can't remember large codebases ... or anything).
