Dear Members and Friends
The committee plans activities, events, and strategies that foster the preservation and restoration of Idlewild Park Preserve, environmental education and stewardship, as well as community enjoyment and use of Idlewild.
We meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at EQA’s Idlewild Park Environmental Science Learning Center trailer located at 149-20 Springfield Lane (an office trailer just inside of Idlewild Park Preserve) in Springfield Gardens, NY.
New members are welcome! If you have not worked on the committee, but are interested in planning community stewardship activities, furthering environmental education for children and families, and the overall preservation and restoration of Idlewild Park Preserve, the ecological jewel of Southeast Queens, then you are cordially invited to become a member of the IPPC.
